Is it sassy or cheeky? – expressão “folgado”

What can you say about the brown duck? Is it sassy or cheeky?  

In Portuguese we would say that the duck is “folgado“! Actually, I’d say that he is “muito (very) folgado“! Poor white duck!!

And, what about the man with red hair?

Is he lazy, layabout,shirker,lazybones and/or slacker?

In Brazil we’d say that he is “folgado”!

Other synonyms for “folgado”

We can also use “folgado” for someone who is leech (“sanguessuga”), sponger (“que vive às custas dos outros”),  taker (“pessoa que vive pedindo as coisas aos outros, mas na hora de dar algo desaparece”) and  moocher (o mesmo que um “sponger”)
